SF knife laws/attractions

i am going to SF tomorrow to the academy of sciences and wanted to know if they have metal detectors/restrictions on knives. i also have alot of metal items on me (other then knives and i down own a gun) and i would really hate to have to take them all off and stuff it becomes a hassle.

yea id keep my knives, shanks, or guns at home. people are crazy these days!

No they don't. Carry your knife in peace and have a great time, the Academy is a fun place to visit!
