Would you get a SF NO with the standard handle(1/4" scales) or with Magnum handle option? Why? What is your favorite blade finish/magnum handle combo?

Thanks
Luke

I'm having a tough time deciding what to do as far as which size handle to go with. The Magnum SF handles were not at Blade east so I didn't have a chance to handle them like the west coast Hogs did:(

As far as finish combos go, I like the the basic black canvas on a Double Cut blade and tan canvas on a tan blade:cool:

Being a big fan of the Ergo handles (and even those could use more width), I went with the larger magnums. Tan blade with Tiger Stripe.

The Magnums are much thicker and fill my hand a lot better, but those 2 scallops on each side felt weird. The edges formed by the scallops IMO might cause blisters when chopping, although they do help to lock the handle in your palm to help you hang on to it. I've gripped both handles and I can't make up my mind either.

Monday I plan on ordering the NO with satin finish and paper mircata scales. Talk about exciting!!!!! I noticed that Jerry lengthened the blade to 7 inches. I never noticed before, but my NO-E is only 6. I think the longer blade is going to kick a$$.

Hi. I had the same questions. Jerry convinced me that the regular handles would be a better fit - more control and perhaps less tiring to use. I ordered my NO with a black blade finish and the snakeskin handles. This will be my first Busse and I can't wait.

A question for you lucky hogs who've had a chance to handle to SFNO at the various shows: How does the non-Magnum SF handle compare to the Ergo handles? I find the handle on my NO-E to be too tall for its width, and wonder if the SFNO handle would feel the same.

Thanks,
Jeremy
