This is my third folder design that was realised by Peter Schlusche.
There is a little technical difference as the stop pin is situated right under the pivot. The pin runs in a slot in the blade. Scott Jonesy and Jerry Hossom allowed me to use this idea and I want to thank both for their help and patience - Thank You!! The handle design of the knife is some kind of tribute to Jerry!

fria,
what is the material you are using as a background? where can I get some of it? it's really nice.

as for your knife...what can I say? nice...has a mayo-ish feel to the blade (and the opening device). but definitely a special individual look.

how about a picture of the locking mechanism and a top view?

I asked it there, I'll ask it here, Specs and steel, Baby!

Nice design, and it looks like great execution. Thanks for sharing.

Though you have borrowed some styling cues for this knife, it has a quite unique look. Great lines. This is a very nice folder.

Thank you for your kind words and sorry for not answering earlier

specs of the shown knife:
Blade: Talonite 5/32"
Handle: Ti6AL4V 1/8"
OAL: 8"
BL: 3,5"

more pics are shown in the link I posted.
Peter took the pics and I think the background is stingray skin

I'd like to get my hands on some of that stingray skin. Anyone know where I can get a piece like that?

I am in doubt regarding the flipper, but apart from that, an attrative folder design!

I'd like to hear more and see a pic of this slot that the stop pin runs in? How much material is removed from the blade and will it affect it's structural integrity?
Thanks,
Chuck
