At my request, my neighbor helped me take out a large limb (his tree) overhanging my yard. I said I'd take the wood for camping, so the SFNO LE saw some clean-up duty. It's a good chopper for its size. Nothing like a Mistress, but the saber grind does give it some heft and momentum.

It's balsa. He's got flabby arms. That's why it took two cuts.

(Nice accuracy on cut #2 - going into the same opening. I'd have stabbed my foot or impaled the cat. I suck at chopping.)

Beautiful blade! I just ordered one similar to that one. It's #284/300.
Are all SFNO LE's with the with the tiger hide handles and "###/300" saber grinds? I'm not so sure I can get myself to use it yet. I have an ASH-1 and just ordered a SARsquatch. So, I'll have my bases covered with the SFNO size blades.

Thanks for sharing the pics.

Yep. Congrats on scoring one of these!

Nice pic & vidclip, Guyon! I'm hoping to take mine out this weekend with the TT Killa Z for some action. :D

I don't know if I can use mine... May buy a standard model to beat and keep the LE as a collector piece.

Oddly enough, you may find it difficult to find a 'standard' SFNO for any less money than that LE you just scored.

I would like to get mine out sometime but I am still waiting on the Leatherman sheath for it.

Thanks,

For the longest time these suckers never came up. Now, I see all these SNFO LE's for sale. I may pick up another SFNO LE and use it as a user. However, I tried my SARsquatch for the first time today and think that will serve as my user for now. Is there much more a SFNO can do that at SAR squatch cannot. I guess the SFNO LE's just look better doing it.

Always good to see INFI in use!

I'll second the "nice aim"... looks like one clean chop in the end.

Thanks for sharing.
