Yes, I ordered a BG SFNO with a Saber grind, but this full flat version was calling my name. It's blade is surprisingly similar to the ASH1 in shape. This one has black G10 handles. It's an exceedingly awesome blade. I wish I knew more about the history of this one. I hope we can someday get these new from the factory, but I won't hold my breath...

Love this knife. The full flat version is my favorite but the saber is one "hell in a bucket" knife.

I like that. And I agree. It would take a bit of work on it to make it even close to slicey. But, oh yeah, "hell in a bucket" knife is a great description. I think it immediately became my knife that I would grab if it was time to grab INCH gear.

I had 59, and 164, and 185, and 210. But I sold a couple of those. I think I'm down to 3 now.
