This knife seems to be a mix of both. And no wonder—Rodrigo is one of the talented Bladesmiths from Brazil who is a rising star even here in the US.

I drooled at this one too long on KnifeArt.com and pulled the trigger. Glad I did, too. :) I think I would have been upset if I let this get away, considering this is the style of knife I am most pleased with for my collection. A fine example.

A little different display, since I only have to please myself on this!

If you haven't already seen this, it will dazzle you.

That's a very special package there, I've been drooling at it myself for many weeks, thanks for taking me out of my misery now that it's "bought" LOL. Your photography as always rocks, would love to see a 1024 of that work of art you acquired and captured with your camera.

Congrats on your score, quality top to bottom.

When I got to the Brazilian bladesmiths table at BLADE, the best, nicest pieces were already gone. There were several similar to this that were simply stunning, good catch.

That one has been haunting my dreams for some time and I am delighted that it has found such a good home - this knife is right up you're alley Coop. Just an outstanding piece!

Coop, you have a great knife there, it's a keeper in my book. I like the sheath.

Now if you could have put a little more light on it and adjusted your white balance and elevated it just right and got the focus a little clearer you would have had a wonderful photo :p :p :p LOL I sound like I know what I'm talking about :p Really fantastic image Coop.

I will have knives for you to shoot in Chicago, see ya there.

I'm really glad you got this one Jim, congratulations. I recall when KA first posted it, I was so taken with it, I actually started a thread here about it, and some of the other new Brazillian pieces KA had gotten in with it, with this one, IMO, being the pick of the bunch, and I still feel it's maybe the nicest piece I have yet seen from the "Boys from Brazil" :)
