sg-2 powder steel ?

Does anyone have any experience with super gold 2 (sg-2).If so how does it compare to zdp-189 s30v ect.Its probibly not stainless? or is it.Kershaw uses it in the blur model.Its laminated with 410 stainless.I know it rockwells at 64 65 it is very dense pure steel I would like to hear it compared with zdp-189 they seem the most similar.

Hi, Go to knife testing and reviews section and STR did a review on the Kershaw Blur with SG2 a couple of months back and it was a GOOD one. THANKS! Kevin:thumbup:

Holds an edge about as long as ZDP-189, maybe a little longer, and is easier to sharpen. I love it in kitchen knives (though I've yet to find a steel I don't love in kitchen knives...).
