Sg2 JYD Tip Up Coversion?

I have an Ti Sg2 JYD with one of you STR low rider clips on my Ti Sg2 JYD. I would like to use the current STR clip and just have it drilled and tapped for tip up. I would like it mounted as deep as possible while retaining a good profile in my pocket.
I didn't see a sticky with pricing on this type of mod so I'm requesting a quote if at all possible. I'm in no hurry but I'd like to get a price in my head if at all possible.

I appreciate the question. I can probably get to that after the holidays for you. One thing if I understand you though is that the original clip does not curve the right way to mount tip up right hand carry. It may not even work at all. If I misunderstand you please explain but it sounds like you have two SG2 folders, one with a clip I did and another you want flipped or you have one that is equipped with one of my low rider clips for tip down carry right hand in the factory position and you want it flipped to tip up right hand carry.

If that last one using a clip I did is what you want my only concern then is the lock cut to spring the lock at the part of the folder where its milled out to thin the titanium down to make it move and bend easier. That tends to catch on pockets just over the rim of the pocket so it is sometimes necessary to make a new clip from scratch to fit and curve around that to avoid this problem. The one I did for another mode of carry may or may not work as smoothly as one I could custom fit to that spot. We'd just have to try and see how it goes.

Either way its going to run you about $15 to mail it to me and me mail it back after threading it.

I have one of your low riders already installed, I would like you to drill and tap it for tip up right hand carry.

After the holidays sounds great. I'll be sure to get on that once I get back from vacation.

So order is for you to take the current STR clip and flip it for tip up, that's it, for $15? Just to make sure we both understand clearly.

Yes and five of that amount is what I'll use to ship it back to you. I have a work order form I'll need filled out and printed to mail with your folder.
