Well, I got a new JYDII SG2 and it looks like I will be sending it to Kershaw for some of that good customer service. The laminate blade looks quite different from one side to the other. I guess my Tyrade and my Krein reground ZDP189 Mini Cyclone will have to hold me over till this one gets back from the factory. :) Has anyone else seen one like this?

It happens.... won't hurt the cutting ability. They can probably straighten it out for you though.

now that is pronounced for sure...

Kershaws CS will def take care of ya, but that is still weird lol

keencutter, none of the SG2 blades I have are perfectly symmetrical. But I gotta agree with you on this one. There appears to be a problem on the non-clip side. They will take good care of you.

BTW, how do you like Krein's regrind on the TI/ZDP?

It looks like I have the option of sending it back where I ordered it from for a replacement or sending it to Kershaw. I am sure I will get it all worked out.

I really like the regrind on the TI/ZDP. It is a great slicer and I EDC it a lot. I switched the clip around for tip up carry and had the dual thumbstud removed as well because it was hanging on my pocket. One of my favorite knives.
