The prior owner was not sure on the coated blade. The blue isn't holding all that well considering these were not handled much.... and I'm not about to go try and rub it off. These are the most dead mint Busse Knives I have seen. And that includes many of my new ones:foot:

Of course the way I do things the seller was smart. Over time I'm likely to send them another $750 in Scotch and wine.:eek: :eek: :eek:

Seriously, those are extremely nice examples. The coatings look as close to perfect as I've seen -- they must have been safe queens. And those edges...nice, really nice!
