Thanks, I put it together for us piglets to get informed - I use it every day myself.

Oooohhh! Nice same era A2'sters 'ya got there:thumbup:

I couldn't tell you when they were done though...everything after birth is just a blur:D

Looks to me like the top one is a birds head BBSHSHI as seen on this page on my site http://www.bussecollector.com/subpage113.html and the bottom is a SHBA as seen here http://www.bussecollector.com/subpage5.html, you can look up their specs on http://www.bussecollector.com/gpage.html5.html. Pre-1999 would be my guess, but Mulder is my resident expert on SHSH :D

Oh and GREAT catch, enjoy them!

That is a Birds Beak Straight Handle Steel Heart 2, the Steel Heart 1 had only two rivets in the handle and is much shorter. The plunge line on the SH1 is very C shaped in comparison to the BBSHSH2's much straighter plunge line.

Ah, Mulder was a fine student. :) Now he's slopping all the good stuff right under me. :p

Edit to add: Yes, they are A2, the SH1's were ats34. The SHSH went INFI during the Half Moon Pommel phase.
Heres my BBSHSH2 with its A2 cousins
