SH II

I've noticed something about Busse owners. They are very helpful to other Busse owners; especially in regard to the resale of their Busses. It seems that when a Busse is having some trouble being sold, some Busse owner (or admirer even? I'm not sure), by the goodness of his heart, chimes in with praise for the Busse knife, usually getting the knife sold. That's impressing as well as interesting. Good on you, guys.

Who are you kidding? $500 for a Steel Heart II? That's way too expensive and in no way a good deal.

Volvi, I beg to differ.

This is a discontinued Steel Heart II.
It has a straight handle and solid rivets.
The sheath it comes with is no longer equipped on Busse knives, and is a fantastic sheath.

The knife is in MINT condition. There are getting to be fewer and fewer in this shape as time passes.

In the past 2 months I have seen 2 of these, with lesser sheaths go for $600.

It's not about what it originally cost. It's about collector value and the fact that Jerry has stated that HE WILL NEVER make this model again. Period.

Thanks rdnzl, that was "unexpected and very appreciated"

Sir(Andrew Lynch), you are right. Busse owners are almost like a brotherhood, Full of "Unit Integrity". Cohesive to the Core! We don't always agree, what a bore that would be(hey I rhymed again). All for the passion of BUSSE'S sir! I am sure others appreciate your insightful observation

.

volvi. Don't know if that's a joke or not. If not, uhm......have you seen the price the vintage straight handles are going for these days? I certainly hope you wouldn't rain on rdnzl's parade of trying to help a Busse Fan. I really appreciated his "totally unexpected" help and would find it really too bad if someone would want to put us, or the SHII's value down

. Have you seen the prices some handmade folders are gettin' these days? Sheesh!

Thanks again rdnzl. You Da "Benevolent Busse Team" Man!

I imagine it will go fast now guys, so if you've ever been contemplatin'?
