I believe the original thread said something about it being a regular offering on their site...
Overall I think the entire SH line is a beautiful knife; maybe the most beautiful of all the Busse Knives. But of the ones I have owned none suited me as users. They were of the size that made me think that Id just use a FBM and have more blade.
That is until I got my hands on the SH1 at Blade. It is a killer knife. For the way I use knives (FOR ME) Id put it nearly on par with a Badger-III as a perfect user.
This updated version of the original Steel Heart will NEVER be offered again!!!. . .
These will be offered like our other models, with a variety of blade finishes and handle material choices. . . .
The Limited Edition will be the official anniversary model and will be the only one to bear the 15th anniversary logo.
A Special Edition HOG version will be available in VERY LIMITED quantities!!!!
Nuke On !!!!

If you really want to chop with it, and carrying distance doesn't matter, then the mistress is the way to go. It only makes sense to take up the Steel Heart if you have to pack/carry it a ways, don't have the stamina to work all day with the BM, or need a more well-rounded knife for non-chopping tasks. I think the SH1A is a bit smaller than the FSH, so it's going to be less of a chopper and more of an all-round blade.

I think that the perfect outdoor combo to actually wear would be the SH1a and the AD.
I think I have a line on the SE SH1a's that I missed at Blade.
