I approached Andy Priso months back when the E handles were still a relatively new
concept, I was interested in purchasing a SH2 E for a backwoods fishing trip in the
Keni peninsula. (3 hr drive from Anchorage Alaska)When I placed my order I ask
Andy if I had placed it soon enough to receive the knife for my trip at the 1st of August and Andy said that it should not be a problem as everything was progressing along at a good pace on the new design and that 4 or 6 mos. I can't remember now will be enough
time to fill my order.
Over the next few months we talked in great detail about my trip and the progress of the
new E models which were running into a few unforeseen delays that were beyond the
control of Andy or Busse at which time I was getting a little leery because my vacation
was approaching and I did not want to hike 20 miles from civilization without that knife.
This is when Andy Prisco's true colors began to show, to this point he could have been any
good salesmen as he had a quality product to sell, he stands behind the product 100% but
production schedules are beyond his control is what I am thinking as well as what am I going
do about my primary knife, at this time Andy assures me that I will take a Busse to Alaska if he has to loan me one of his.
The week before my departure comes and the knife will have to ship, I call Andy and he tells me that the E handle will not make it for the trip but he is sending me a SH2 as a loner in it's place, no strings attached, no liability for damage or any restrictions what so ever.
Andy is a true customer oriented individual in that he goes above and beyond the acceptable level of service expected 10 fold.
I am glad to say that I will be doing business with Andy in the future and will recommend his services to anyone in need of a nuclear tough knife.
My apologies for the 2 week delay in posting, I was only gone for two weeks but you would of thought it was more like a month seeing the work waiting for my return.
I will be posting a review on my experience with the loaner in a few days when I will hopefully see daylight once again.
I short it was an excellant choice.
