Shabaria...?

Will there be an Eduard Bradichansky/Spyderco Shabaria? And if so, will it still be VG-10 with Micarta?

BF Native G-10 blue? on the Shabaria? I don't think that one will fly IMHO. BF Native bright blue and G-10 speak of rugged action/work and fun. The Shabaria is classy and elegant with a serious 'business' side just under the surface.
Make mine in black, please.

as far as i know spyderco are talking about first delivery on the shabaria late next month. i trully hope that is true ,being one of the people involved in the making of this knife,i can't wait for it to turn up.

The Shabaria should be available by mid-fall, probably mid to late October, from what I'm told. Micarta handle, VG-10 steel, 3 7/8 blade length.

This one is displayed on James Mattis' Chai Cutlery page:

I initially thought this meant that they had already begun shipment to those with collectors' numbers, but on second thought this appears to have a large blade marking of some sort, probably ID'ing it as a prototype from that batch he was sent for scanning. Gorgeous, at any rate - I'm very excited to see these.

Will there be a serrated version? That would be... different.
