Well, it seems that I gravitate toward sage as the coating color of choice for my users that aren't stripped, CF or some form of satin. I was just looking through some of them and thought I would share all of the different shades of sage that are in my small collection of the color. The bigger blades like the KDSH and Rucki got left out of the group shot, so I am showing some older shots of them.

Feel free to share your sage blades too! Whatchya got?

Here's some of my current ones, there's a couple missing from this shot though.

ASHBM that I scored at Blade '12, catching a free card for this made an awesome memory for a first time Blade attendee!

Basic 11, an asym ground by the Bossman himself as the story went.

MMD bought it strictly since sage & black canvas was an option.

ZTSH Terror Monkey variant, the lighter color appears to be some sort of sage/tan, I don't think it is urban grey? Oh well, the handles almost qualify for the color either way. :D

Skinny ASH1 sage & black canvas, these should be offered again someday!

KDSH's & Rattlehawk shade differences although the Rattlehawk & MO kdsh have since moved on since these old pics were taken.

Rucki, Rodent Solution, Scrapivore and NMSFNO, the Scrappy and NMFSNO were my two most recent scores, I couldn't pass up that linen tigerhide! :p

So who else likes sage?

AztimT 1 the rest of the forum 0 what a collection of desert sage

I wouldn't say that, this is not a competition as I know there are a few hogs out there that have way more than this to make me look like a mere piglet. ;) John's post above is no slouch for a matching set... eight blades all in sage & black canvas is pretty sweet and makes for a dedicated collector! Good job JTT and thanks for the contribution!

If you have just one  or over a thousand , bring em out to show for the rest of us to enjoy, please!

Wow Pete, those are sweet! What is the bottom one in the fourth pic under the Groovemaster? I don't think I've seen that before. This is why I love threads like this, you never know what you might see pop up to improve hog fu! :D

Tim,
That is a drop point hunter proto I got in SEP '09 on the exchange from a guy in Washington state. Only one I've seen like it.
Pete

Yes. The best Busse blade color. Find the black blades a bit overwhelming. Like the handle color darker, or to stand out more, than the blade. Personal preference, of course...;-)

Wow, that is a very unique score there! You don't often see the handles shaped symmetrically on both ends. Very cool!

Tim,
I don't recall the guy's forum name but I have his mailing info. If you are interested, he may remember where and when he got it.

OTOH, back to the OP. A few not so small ones. (The KDSH is incoming.)

BWM, Rodent Rucki, MO KDSH

Pete, I wouldn't bother a guy about a knife I don't own, but thanks for the offer. :) Those big ones are very nice!

Awesome collection Tim. I only have a few sage but it is my favorite with black canvas than black on black canvas.
I have a mean street milliganza sage and black canvas and a AMS and a RMD in that color combo.

Desert Sage and Tan canvas. I like:
Terror Monkey Hell Razor

Beefmandu and Ratmandu

Scrapyard 311

BWM, NMFSH and Boss Jack

Just to name a few...:D
