They are pretty to look at. The finish on these blades looks great.
(as others have mentioned, a G-10 scaled version would be sweet)
I guess I should post a pic or something?
I had to use the wheelbarrow to get them out to the photo room. :D

Holy sh..............., Pops!!!
Need help with storing a few of those?!? :D

Nice haul!!

Do you guys know if these were made with standard blade thickness or thinner like the composite shallots?

Oh - and will Kershaw hurry up and make a Titanium Shallot already??!!

just got mine - the stonewash does have a faint brownish tint which is very interesting. I don't have a standard Shallot anymore to compare it to - that went to Iraq with a buddy - but this one seems about 50% snappier, it really pops out of the handle in a hurry! Since I can never leave well enough alone, I'm thinking a CF overlay on the non-clip scale may be in order, perhaps some weight-reduction holes under it too, hmm . . . .

Mine arrived today and it's really nice. It was a bit stiff to open until I exercised it about 30 times and it's now easy.

My one wish is that the outside was rougher so it was easier to hold tightly. I wonder if the outside metal on the shallot could be made to have a rougher surface.

There's always skateboard tape, or bath tub non slip type stuff. The adhesive cleans off if you ever want to take it back off leaving no marks. Joe

That's just about what I want to do too, using wood instead of CF (I just got a bunch of high-grade amboyna). Should aid grip a little, (and look snazzy).

There are 8 PE and 3 CE shown there, I'm actually only keeping 6 and 3, or 1% of production. :D
