I love my S110V Shallot but am new to carrying a knife clipped to my pocket. When my Shallot arrived, it was open a bit with the point showing.
If I clip this to my right hand jeans pocket, the blade opens away from the seam. If I swap the clip, then it's facing point up, which seems more dangerous.
So, it there basically no chance the blade will open in my pocket?
I wish Kershaw could have drilled the other side so the clip could be moved without making the tip point up.
UPDATE: After carrying point up for one day, I now see that's the way to go if you're carrying in a right-hand pocket. There's basically no chance of it opening at all against the seam, and that's opposite of where you hand goes. Additionally, it's much faster to withdraw and open the knife with the clip reversed and the tip up. It's a good design choice by Kershaw.
