Hey all
Just finished up the Shamwari prototype (Weekdays for orders, Saturday for the Wife - Sundays for me to play!) I went with a linerlock setup so I could see it all together without having to wait on the engineers to mill the pocket for the lock protector (don't have my own mill - yet).
Specs:
Blade: RWL-34, high hollow satin finished (it's ground with a 450mm diameter wheel so it's a pretty shallow hollow, should slice like a dream)
Scales: Textured Olive G10
Liners: 2mm titanium
Backstrap is Orange G10
Stonewashed pocket clip
I radiused the spine, really happy with how it came out, I really like what it does to the jimping
I'll try get some better pics in the morning, just gone midnight here and I was too wired to wait so please excuse the photography.
Anyways, photos say it better:
You can't see it here but the spine sits proud in the open position but flush in the closed, it makes the jimping a little more accessible and the radius means it's not too aggressive on the thumb (you can see it in the vid though)
A quick vid, I repeated a lot of what I wrote above so you can ignore me droning on in the background
