one of the coolest push daggers i've seen in recent memory!....good job....ryan

In my opinion, Shane is one of the most talented makers out there.

That is a cool knife.

:thumbup:I think so too. Meeting Shane Taylor and getting to play with his latest "bat knife" was one of the highlights of my trip to Blade. Each of his knives was like holding a precision made jewel. I'm sure anyone that has handled one knows the feeling.

He was a pleasure to chat with as well.

Tis nice!!! It has a raw, unfinished quality to it that works for me. I'll bet it feels good in the hand too. I keep looking for a dragon or a batwing in the steel...it must be well hidden.

Funny Shane, for those of you who haven't had the privilige of visiting beautiful Rock Springs it is not at the end of the earth but you can darn sure see it from there. here is a link i found about rock springs if you click on the satelite imagery button and zoom in you can see the national forest that Shane was talking about.

I believe that there are 3 trees in the Rock Springs National forest...if you blink whilst driving, you might miss it.

I'm sorry to report this news, but the forest was one tree and it unfortunately died several years ago. Attempts to replant the forest so far have been unsuccessful. The deer keep eating it.
