I have one of these units covered in dust and unused since last winter. Can the warrior stand up to long term throwing at trees ? Are they made for martial arts and soft targets only, or can they be used for hacking tree limbs/shelter building ? I don't want to go out and bust the thing unnecessarily. Anyone use these things for processing wood ? No battoning of course. Are these things designed to be tossed and knocked around roughly ?

The Shanghai Warrior has two thin edges designed for slicing and a relatively narrow tip.
They are nicely balanced and I've thrown them a few times with no signs of damage, but I prefer a heavier and thicker blade for that kind of application.
In short, no, I personally wouldn't recommend using this knife for processing wood
