Shaolin Monk Throwing a Needle

Wow!

That was COOl.
But honestly I don't believe it was the needle that broke the glass.

OK...I know. You figger this is just another chance for me to say some really flaky stuff...and make a big joke out of what must have taken that man a life time of devotion and discipline to learn.

But this comment is truly heartfelt, and to the best of my ability, explain what the eye and my intellect have recorded.

My intuition speaks to me and causes me to see clearly.

It was not the needle that pierced the glass.

It was the FORCE OF WILL that traveled around, and a millisecond ahead of the needle, that caused the glass to fracture and allow the needle to pass.

If one believes the principals of energy transfer, the external becomes inconsequential. The needle was simply an instrument of focus.

Sincerely,

Shane

I wondered what that all over tingly feeling was when watching the video.....now I know.

Exactly. With a mastery of focus most anything can be done. And thats what takes a litime (if ever) to archive.

One must first conquer the self before such things can be accomplished. The tossing of the needle through the glass is just a demonstration of his deep discipline and control of self. The rest is just academic.

Maybe a year ago I've seen one of their live performances. Very commercialized unfortunately but I understand that they need these extra funds to upgrade their weapon inventory to Busse products.

Amongst other show elements they also did this needle-through-glass thing. But what impressed me most were 5y old boys already doing unbelievable stunts and on the other hand 70+ y old men still moving with the grace and speed of a leopard. Their extremely hard training does not seem to have any negative trade-offs when you get old (unlike most other high-end athletes).

Jerry- Could you make some of those needles in INFI.
Oh, and chisel ground?
:yawn::D

Unless that "70 yr old man" is really only 48. ;)

If he was REALLY 48 there must have been loads of rock 'n roll in this Temple. Even Keith Richards didn't manage to look like this at 48

Here is a pic from the show. This is master Song Lin Tiang (or something like this). Actually he claimed to be 80

When one has nothing of substance to add to the conversation, quote Star Wars...

"Kid, I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other, and I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen *anything* to make me believe that there's one all-powerful Force controlling everything. 'Cause no mystical energy field controls *my* destiny. It's all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense."

Guys,

Probably this is one thread I should have ket my mouth shut and my thoughts to myself.

And my post probably sounded like a sound byte from the old Kung Fu show with David Carradine.

Energy transfer is one of those topics that polarize discussions to the point of violence. Usually it whittles itself down to a ludicrous shouting match between 2nd Graders..."Are so!' "Am NOT!" "Are so" "Am not!"

If its all a bunch of HOOPLA...explain this. The guy on the video must have been some kind of charlatan(NOT)

Granted there is a "physicality" involved, BUT the primary source for this strike is generated int the bodies energy center. BTW~ I am not making this up, this is not my information. I am passing on information from my teachers, and adding a bit of personal experience.

NOw is my cue for "shutting up".

It's all god. Regardless of my off world views, the man with the needle does an amazing thing.

Shane

Shane, I hope you didn't take my reply as an attack. What I was trying to convey was that I have nothing of substance to add to the conversation, thus, I quoted Star Wars...:foot:

Look at the picture above once more. This 80y old man is holding his energy center in both hands above his head  A second later he will slam it with mighty force on those two brawlers in the first row   :D
