Folding Knives come in all shapes and sizes; something for everyone. Some are kind of clunky / boxy while others are slim and trim. I like them all but my preference is for small, 2 3/4 - 3 1/4 inches and anything over 3 1/2 - 3 3/4 inch sees little use with me. My favorites are the small equal end or sleeveboard knives with a blade at each end and nicely nested together and my latest is a small half congress, I never tried the congress pattern before but I am liking this one. I have barlows ( Schmidt & Ziegler) and camp knives ( Imperial Kamp King) that have sentimental value as they were gifts from my grandfather and Father and were my first knives. MY current Rotation, I carry one for two days then switch, run from small slim and petite to larger ones. I like spear, pen, coping, warncliff and lambsfoot blades mostly in my users and the only clip point is in my Hubertus. Blade steel is mostly carbon (1095) and mostly jigged bone scales with wood, stag and mammoth scattered in. The GEC Esquires and Pemberton along with the Primble and Boker are good examples of just how slim, trim and smooth a pocketknife can be while the Hubertus was a good example of how blocky one can be, I have since blended the square edges and rounded & smoothed it up ( mainly the Stag scales) to suit me.
My current rotation, subject to change as I find something new to try. They are John Primble (Boker made), GEC, Schatt & Morgan, A. Wright & Sons, and Hubertus.

Retired or kept but not used

I don't "collect" pocket knives per se, I get ones that interest me and if I like them for the most part I use them.
