While organizing my knives and my pictures, I gathered these, and thought this brand could stand a little discussion. Apparently all contract knives, they were made by other famous cutleries. Some are easy to identify , others not. It is a good exercise, and enjoyable to identify knives without paying attention to the markings, as it further counterfeit-proofs you! Have fun, and add some as you can!!

Waynorth, you have the most amazing collection. My thanks go to you for sharing it.
Steve
The three woods in scan3, probably the first five in that scan and #3 (Ivory celluloid)&7(ebony) in the last scan look like NYK blades.
Nice excersize...

It sure looks like there is a fair amount of Ulster, Schrade and Camillus influences scattered in there. That ebony in the last picture, maybe an Empire? Beautiful lot of knives!

There's that Shapleigh single balde folding hunter again, Sweet Sweet Sweet. As are the others of course.

Thawk took the words right out of me big ole mouth.:D

And Charlie, yes they all are something extra special indeed. Thanks for a fine spread. I'll be coming back here again and again for a while.

OK Charlie, I'm going to take a stab at it, but I'm pretty much taking educated guesses on half of them:
First set from the top; Empire, Schrade, Schrade (Cut. Co), Schrade
Second set; Not sure, Schrade, Joseph Rodgers ;)
Third set; Two top-Imperial, Schrade or Ulster / First three from left, Challenge? / next three, Schrade (this jigging is a bit different from the standard Schrade peachseed, but the pillbuster is a dead ringer for the 2643 1/4)/ last on right, Empire
Last set; Two top- Schrade? pearl-Winchester or Ulster? / two barlows, Imperial, the second is either Imperial or more likely, Ulster / cell. not sure/ Schrade, Imperial, Schrade/ Ebony is Schrade and last is Challenge.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong on any or all of these.
The Challenge ones are educated guesses based on the pins and age.
How about a couple more to add to the pot:

Really pretty Eric. They both look like 20's or 30's Schrade Cut Co to me. A cattleman 3 1/8 and a senator 2 3/4 ?

Real nice Eric! That Cattle knife is excellent. . . .errr MINT! Both great additions to the thread. I hope we see more people post their D-Es!
Your guesses on my family portraits are educational for me. I didn't know Challenge made D-Es! The only ones I know for sure are the ones you identified as Schrades and Empires. I haven't seen enough Imperials or Winchesters yet, to be sure.

Eric,

Those are two beautiful Diamond Edge examples. I am very much enjoying them.

Charlie,

Here is one example. My daughter was fortunate enough to have received this vintage D-E Texas Jack pattern produced by Imperial, from one of our finest bf members' daughter here as a gift a while back(Thanks again Thawk! She loves this knife!). Check out the textured style bolsters on this one.. Something you don't see too often.

What a great gift. I understand your daughter's pride in that one!
Thanks for showing it here, sunny.
Now I know there are more D-Es out there. Don't be shy boys and girls;-)

These are the Diamond Edge series Imperial did in the 60's. This set is minus a fixed blade. Pretty decent quality, though it is Delrin. Be careful, because many of the DE's Imperial did are shell handles. Stainless blades with nice style. They did a nice Delrin Peachseed.

WOW! Nice Imperials Sunnyd and thawk! It seems as though the DE's with the numbers etched on the blades would have been produced after Imperial took the name over, as I haven't seen any numbered etches pre-Imperial (I have seen numbered tangs though). Here are a couple of barlows. The single blade was quite the rusty, pitted mess at first. I'm still working on it (a long process when you don't wail on it with a buffer! I'm going through the same thing with a Schrade Cut. Co. daddy barlow right now):

Nice ones Flylock! I've never seen that slimmer equal-end with a punch! How long is that knife??

It is 3-3/8",The equal end punch is unusual , and I just had to have it when I found these last year on the cuttingedge.com no less.

Thanks Flylock!
Well, off to the Blade show. . .Back in a few days!!
