Does anybody know what is Sharade+ steel from "Imperial Shrade".
Thanks, Vassili.

I posted this on Sharade forum too, but there is no much activity there - so just in case I duplicate this question here too.

Means that the blade is stainless. If it is not marked so on the tang it is carbon steel.

Hope this helps.

Thanks! It's very understandable!
But, does it mean it is close to 420 or something? May be you know composition?
The problem is that friend of mine ask me this question - somebody present him Imperial sharade knife.
Thanks, Vassili.

Up until recently, Schrade was using 440A, I’m not sure if they are still using it or not.

Schrade’s carbon steel is 1095.
