Last month my wife cleaned out a guest room closet and found a printer paper box marked Iraq. Among other things in the box were a Gerber OIF Harsey Hunter, a Benchmade Nimvarus w/ G10 scales, a Benchmade 7 Hook, an Emerson CQC-7B, a Leatherman Squirt, a Leatherman Wave, a SOG Twitch II, and a CRKT. Don't even know how I came into possession of most of those and didn't even remember I had them. The CRKT is the only one ever carried/used. None of these, other than the 7 Hook, do anything for me. They just do not turn my crank.
I gave away the Nimvarus to a buddy in Nashville. The Leatherman Squirt and SOG Twitch II went to a man in NY who sent me a Seiko 7s26 Seiko 5 when I was in Afghanistan in 2012. The Leatherman Wave I'll give to my son. The 7 hook is in my glove box.
There's an older gent at the range/club who carries a Benchmade. He'll get the Emerson CQC7B. Was planning to give it to him tomorrow as I almost always see him on Sundays, but I have to be in another city tomorrow. I'll hit the range later today. Hopefully he'll be there.
