Several recent ironwood acquisitions made me think it would be fun to have a new thread to show all the different grain variations out there. There have been great threads on this previously. Please share your ironwood!

I'm sorely short ironwood in my Buck knives. This is the only one I have. It's the 30th Anniversary Take-a-Part 110...

Only 3 (so far). All recycled images. CKS 119 and 55s (one darker, one lighter).

Both sides of the 119, compared to the standard 192.

And the better-looking of the two Ironwood 55s. Flip side has the same overall look, different figuring.

I LOVE highly figured ironwood!

Unfortunately, for me, I have yet to get a decent representation from Buck. Every time, it is muddled, too dark, and absent of decent grain definition. I keep trying, but I am cursed!!

192 Vanguard with Ironwood handle. 100th Anniversary cutout on the blade but not the 100th Anniversary sheath or tang stamp.
No listing in Spectial Projects or Newsletters that I could find. Never seen another.

The whole knife is great, and Jerad did a wonderful job bookmatching the ironwood. The thing I really like on the 119 is the barrel nut, leather spacers, and 440C.

One more Ironwood for the show. I've posted this before.
A Brian Yellowhorse 110. The handles are Ironwood, Turquoise, and Red Spiny Oyster.
The brass bolsters are enhanced with a deeply engraved Elk profile. A SMKW exclusive numbering 100.
A 2014 50th Anniversary 110. Early tang stamp before they added 'BUCK'.
