I will start with this one, a hit at family gatherings.

Take a frozen roast (pork, venison, beef, or any other)
put in crock pot on the low setting, add 1/2 to 3/4 of a bottle of wine (I prefer to use a dessert wine for this), handful of fresh garlic cloves, one sweet onion chopped, baby carrots, celery, red bell pepper, five or six small red potatoes sliced or cubed. Leave crock pot on the low setting and let cook for 12 or so hours. I put it together around five in the evening and it is ready to eat by one the next afternoon.
