Just finished the rooster head drink stirrer. The mayonnaise spreader was my first project, last week. Whittled with Swiss Army Knives.

Knives used:

Spreader: Victorinox Tinker
Stirrer: Victorinox Hiker and finished with Recruit.

Any other whittlers want to share their work here? I'd love to see it.

Nice work Smaug!
I havn't whittled anything with a SAK yet, but you have inspired me. I carve a lot of spoons out of Roots that I salvage from our excavation sites at work.
I love Birch roots, they cut very well. I will have to give the SAKs a try. These are carved with Mora's and a Skookum.

SAKs can actually be good whittlers. They are inexpensive enough that we can grind the blades and implements to our taste without too much worry. In this book I'm getting projects from, The Little Book of Whittling, the author uses a Tinker for all the projects. He re-grinds the small blade into a Wharnecliffe, and of course grinds off the keyring nub.

I reasoned that the Hiker would be even better, since it has a saw. (it is) Also, if I can go without the saw, the Recruit is even better because it has the flush back springs.

I'm also toying with the idea of using a Minichamp, since it has a proper Wharnecliffe blade, and the cuticle pusher can be sharpened into a gouge, thus offsetting the smallness of the knife.
