EDITED July 2020: When I first started this thread, I thought it was going to be a once and done. Instead, I never completed the original groupings, and CRK's came and went. Over time, I shifted from trying to get them all in a few pics to taking much nicer (I think, anyway) pics of individual or small sets of the knives. In 2017 I started doing my pics in a way I called the Balcony Sessions. Those went on until 2021, when life got in the way and they were stopped abruptly. I didn't feel right bringing those back, but in recent months have gotten back into photography. I bought a new camera and some lenses that I only wish I'd had years before, and decided to step up my pics in a different way...............
If you're seeing this thread for the first time, you might want to skim over the first 20 pages or so, but don't skip then entirely. Thanks to the photobucket fiasco, I had to replace all the older pics. In cases where I have a newer and better pic of the same knife, I used them instead of the older pics. Or you could just go to the end of this thread and work backwards. Here's a couple examples of what you'll find, the fist is a collage of Balcony Sessions, the second pic is from the newly begun series. Many from the first few pages of this thread have moved on, others are here to take their place. My collection topped out at 24 CRK's, it's down a bit now as I've been selling some off to raise funds for pancreatic cancer research. I keep this thread going because I think art like this is meant to be shared. Sure, they're still beautiful knives if they stay in boxes, but isn't a work of art better off being seen?

I say almost, because 5 CRK's aren't going to be in these group pics. A large Spaulted Maple Annual, a large and a small UG, a large Night Sky with Star Sapphire, and a small Freedom CGG. But what I have here is 70 CRK's on my table right now, with no inbounds for a change. I was going to put a towel or something soft and non-reflective down on the table, but a few folks have recognized it and like it, so I'm going to let it show here. I'll be turning them over and taking pics in different groups over the next several days, but here's the first, face-down pics....
A couple overall. The top row is Zaans and Ti-Locks, the 2nd row is large Sebs with lanyards, the 3rd row is larges without. The 4th row is small Sebs with their tails on, the 5th row is smalls without, and Mnandis...
Here's a large, hi-res pic so you can see them better....
Of course any pic session I do is going to involve one or both of my kitties! Here she is choosing...
And here I caught the little filcher in the act!!
And before someone asks..... the River Of Fire is right here.
