Hey people.... I'm sure it's already been said but here is another recommendation. This knife has everything going for it... the biggest of which is the fact that it is probably the most amazing VALUE I've EVER seen come out of ANY manufacturer. I think retail is about $140.... so deals could be had for around $80-$110? This knife sports one of (if not THE) the hottest steels out there. also one of the most elusive and costly. The JYDII SG2 has this steel but also a titanium frame lock for retail $240. This blur has the standard aluminum and a liner lock, with a great brownish rust color that is very appealing and kind of reminds me of the Tyrade color. It also has the speed safe. There really isn't anything I can find wrong with this knife and it has been in my pocket DAILY since I got it for my B-day last week. (from one of the greatest humans on the planet, imho... thank you!) For me to need this in my pocket daily is awesome since I have have fickle "issues" with knives that many of you share. you know who you are :D Get one of these before they dry up. You can't go wrong. 1670BRNSG2 is the #

:eek:...Oh man...You guys are killin' me. That's a great lookin' knife OE...and it looks like a sweet slicer to me. I'm not a fan of "pretty" pink knives so the brown color appeals to me. I love the shape of the blade and having that great steel sure isn't hurtin' it either...GOTTA HAVE ONE!!!...even with all those neat x's...:thumbup::p

It's a gorgeous knife for sure OE. I think that was my 4th Kershaw that I bought, and it's probably one of my top 5 EDC knives. It's relatively benign looking so most people don't have a coronary when you use it, and an unbelievable slicer. I had nearly fall through my steak a few days ago after I sharpened it. I liked it and the steel so much I had to get the JYD II when I saw it at the Kershw sale, especially for the price. Other than my Lahar, I can't think of another steel that's easier to sharpen. Hope there are more SG2 blades in the works. The only one that might be aesthetically more pleasing to me would be the Tyrade.
