Beautiful work.
I have a question, though.
I've been doing gun work for nearly 40 years) professionally from 1976-1988), and were I to build a knife again, I'd spend allot of time on the buffer.

I see many "custom knives" that I ( IMHO) consider roughed out.
Is that the norm these years ?

Keep in mind I used to take stainless super blackhawks, out of the box, and "finish them" before I sold them.
I'm whacko !
I went over to your site and looked around.
If it's in the price range of the others you have some work left to do. ( to suit me)

Very nice blades:thumbup:

You might want to consider that many, if not most, people- don't want mirror finished blades.

I don't even like mirror finishes. Satin and stonewash, fewer worries about fingerprints and scratches, and I don't blind myself on a sunny day while cutting (that's a good thing) And a good mirror finish jacks the price through the roof sometimes.

I think mirror polishes are wasted on users, and I think the Graham Brothers intend their knives to be used. Besides, when you're paying for that expensive fine-grain steel, don't you want to see its structure?

Regarding firearms, I think they are an entirely diferent animal. Don't you think that there is more abrasion associated with the use of a knife than a pistol?

Bladeforums is a reaaly great place to discuss knives. I think your comments might have been better received if they had been phrased thusly: I prefer higher levels of polish. I think your prices are a bit high.

Finally, I'd like to say that the H.U.T. and C.U.T. are cool designs. I particularly like the grind lines, and the angle of the handle to the blade. I think that the configuration would help keep your knuckles out of harm's way.

Regarding price, the less you charge, the more I'll order. :)

Keep up the good work.

Blammo,

If you ask for an opinion, you get one. Thank you for taking the time to look at our knives and again for taking the time to tell us what you thought. Everybody has a different opinion, that is what makes this place intersting. I see knives I like and I see knives I don't like. It does not make them bad or good. It just means I don't like them. And as my wife likes to tell me "nobody cares what you like" :D

As Johneyblackbull mentinoned, S30V is hard to work with. My brother Jon and I don't agree on much, I don't know why but for some reason he is always wrong, but I can't get him to see that. I don't know what causes that.:D The one thing that we do agree on is that we do not want to do a polished finish. We like the nice crisp lines. I am not going to say that we will never do a polished finish, but I would not hold my breath waitting on it to happen. I see a lot of knives with a mirror finish that I like, but for some reason we don't think it would fit with our designs or models or however you would say that, STYLE I guess. I see a lot of mirror polished knives out there that I think look really cool, just don't thing it would be a good fit for us.

Different opinions are great, that is why we are hear. Once again, Blammo thank you for your input.

Those are very nice. I like the H.U.T.1 allot and think a smaller version, like a 2.5 or 3 inch bladed would make a great fixed blade EDC, good stuff
