This was one of those blades that while I was forging it I was asking myself why. Kind of looks like there was a reason, at least to me now. The blade is just over 7" and is 52100. The guard was forged out of 1065 and I used both wagon wheel and anchor chain wrought iron for the fittings. The handle is axis crown stag with a new dye job. Overall its 13".

There's only one word to describe your work, Ray. Excellence. There's also one word that describes you as a knifemaker: PROLIFIC! Man, it seems like you crank out a new knife every day! To top it all off, your work is really inspiring! Well done, and KEEP 'EM COMIN'! :)

Howdy There....!
That is one "Good Lookin" blade...! Beautiful work, the shape and the style go together great. Nice Job...!

Well that image goes straight to my "Best Of" folder. Dang Raymond you make some really nice knives. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful job! I like the dye job on the stag, and the whole thing just FLOWS,
Way to go!

Okay,Ray. I like the blade shape, no noticable plunge. the guard looks great, that ferrel is first rate. The stag is smooth and very fine dye job. The ring in the butt finishes it off...well, I guess I like everything. Great package!
