Am I the only one who does'nt like sharp thumb-ramp peaks?

Recently I filed down the peaks of my micarta Calypso Jr and my Centofante III.
If I had a scanner or a digital camera I would post a picture.

They are much more comfortable to use with the slight modification.

Nope, you are definitely not alone Allen, I did the same mod to the Calypso Jr I carry occasionally. I don't see it as much as a comfort in use issue as one of wear and tear on the pocket the knife is carried in, but certainly agree it is not a desirable feature. I'm kind of a fanatic about "pointy corners" on knives, the Stretch I carry has the three front corners (top, bottom and back of choil) of the handles "eased" as well, for the same reason.

Not alone indeed - I've rounded out the peaks on my Manix - those are really sharp!

Don't know what you mean by peaks, but I have taken all the sharp corners off the liner lock of my trusty toad as I was cutting my fingers on them

By "peaks" I mean the sharp pointed part of the blade above the thumb-hole on certain Spyderco models (like the Calypso Jr, the Vesuvius, and the Centofante III, to name a few).

I prefer the smooth rounded "hump" over the thumb-hole (like the Endura and Delica have).
And truth be known, I really prefer no hump at all (like the Native series).

Cheers,
Allen.
