Hey folks...been a member for a bit, and have a few blades of my own, and though I love knives, I haven't found the funds for a sharpening system yet. I was wondering if anyone here, on the honor system, sharpens knives...I just got out of grad school, have a new job, and an 11 week old son, so not only are funds too tight for a Sharpmaker, but my free time has all but dried up...my three blades are listed below, and would love for someone to take them and make them hair-popping razor sharp:

Cold Steel Master Hunter
Benchmade Griptilian 551S
Shrade Sharpfinger

Thanks!
Anthony

How about knifeknut1013? His diamond sharpened edges are mirrors, and they're sharper than you'd think an edge can get.

I think so. Some of his posts imply that he sharpens knives for people-for a price I would assume-, and IIRC he had a line in his sig. about his sharpening service.

Oh, ok thanks. What a bummer living a long way away from those guys.

I know how you feel. Trying to find sharpening supplies in the Philippines is hard. I brought a Spyderco Sharpmaker in Makati, but it was expensive. Which is why when I went back to the states I picked up my Lansky deluxe, and bought stropping supplies.
