Hey I just wanted to see what you all think of the sharpening job I did on the two knives I got recently. I was worried about doing it right because I'm thinking about giving them away as gifts to family members. Well, the first two are the pictures the sellers posted and the next two are after I got done with them...

I got the GW fully polished but I left the YK a little rough to aid in slicing.
This was done using a Delta s180 with a 400 grit belt then polished on a leather belt strop loaded with Craftsman buffing green rouge. I was impressed with the outcome as I have just begun to sharpen knives like this...it would have taken hours before with my Lansky and hand-held strop. I really enjoy what I am able to do with the Delta! :thumbup:
