sharpened the SOG Bowie this morning .....

my SOG Bowie has been sitting in my field pack for awhile, so I decided to sharpen it. I got out the homemade strop, C-clamped it to the workbench, rubbed on some green micro-fine honing compound, and went to work. Less than a minute later, the SOG is once again hair-popping sharp !!

the homemade strop is a piece of leather glued to a mousepad glued to a piece of wood.
