Sharpener for Multiple Blade Types

Being very "new" to knives, I don't even know where to start with a sharpening system that would work with all my blades. The first proper knife I ever bought was an Army style full size Kabar which I got a couple of years ago. Though I am considering replacing it because in hindsight the partially serrated edge seems silly. The "Big Brother" looks neat but possibly overkill, so I might just get another Army style except in full straight blade configuration. Really what I'm going for is a do-all survival/camping knife which I think the traditional Kabar platform does better than most. Also, I just bought a Cold Steel Thai machete which I'm excited about and really want to give a razor sharp edge.

Anyways, my experience thus far in sharpening has only gone so far as the carbide and ceramic pull-through style sharpeners on kitchen knives. Though I am not too keen on using this style of sharpener anymore, especially for my Kabar and machete since they operate through such a crude method of just grinding away ton of metal to form a "V" shape. I've no idea where to start, but I'd prefer something a little more guided/automated, and able to be toted along with me to the campsite. Looked around a little already at the a Work Sharp, edge pro, and magnaguide (though the magnaguide looks a little chincey compared to the others). I'd like it to work with the partially serrated blades and not take forever on a long machete type blade.

Check out the KME sharpening system.
One of the best guided systems and it comes with a lightweight carrying case
I'm a beginner myself and it works like a charm.
