The design looks fine to me. Seems like the EdgePro has spawned a lot of clones. The quick flip feature on this one is a good idea, and I prefer the clamp to the EdgePro's method of just laying the knife on a ledge for sure.

Each method of fastening the knife - good. I prefer rotary mechanism. It has advantages. Our sharpener sharpening takes place with one hand and a knife clearly established. I have chosen this path.
