Sharpening 01 steel

What would be the best combination of stones for sharpening an 01 steel blade?

01 steel is very forgiving. A coarse/ fine India would work well. It will rust and stain easily. DM

+1 to what david said. if you do not have any stones you can also use a piece of glass with some 3m brand wetordry paper in grits from 280-400 and finish with a strop.
