I have a DMT aligner sharpener. At what angle should I set it the sharpen the 118 knife,20deg, 30deg, other? Thanks

If it were mine id do a 20° or a 25° id love to have one of thoes! Nice knife.

Would you believe it's a 118 I bought as a teenager that is 440 c steel. I left it in the box and never used it. I took it out sat to sharpen it and found it had left the factory with no sharpening at all. I know all companies have slip ups. It just needs sharpening and it is 440c.

Yes, 20* is about right for the angle Buck did them. If you have the time take it to 17*. This will cut better. DM
