Sharpening a Chisel Edge on the Edge Pro Apex

I've found a few other threads on this subject, but none seem to really answer my questions. If I want to sharpen my V-ground Emersons on an edge pro apex, do I just sharpen the beveled edge to my liking and then do a few passes on the other side with a strop? Could I use a ceramic rod to take the burr off or does it have to be a strop?

Yeah. Or you can add a small microbevel to the other side.

I don't have an Edge Pro, but I do use the Wicked Edge. I sharpen the primary angle at 23 degrees to 27 degrees depending on the factory angle. Then I use 15 degrees for the other side.

Just a few passes on the other side? Do you use any pressure?
