Sharpening a compound grind / CRKT Tighe Rade?

Hi everyone once again!

I've been thinking of grabbing myself a CRKT Tighe Rade production version. I just love the lines and overall design of that beautiful knife. The only concern I have is the compound grind, as I'm not sure how to use nor sharpen it as I had never had a compound grind before, and I was hoping I could get some advice on that?

Oh and let me know what you all think of this knife!

It looks as if the compound grind is in the primary grind of the blade (above the edge grind), leaving a more or less continuous and uniform secondary bevel (edge grind) running the full length of the edge. Looking at pics of the blade (vendor pic below), it shouldn't be much different (if any) in terms of sharpening/maintaining the edge bevels on it. Only possible 'gotcha' might be in the transition between the thinner section at the rear of the blade, and the thicker portion forward. The 'step' of that transition might be a snag or tripping point when it moves over the edge/corner of a sharpening stone, and steady angle control would be essential in avoiding that snag. In other words, in a heel-to-tip stroke, care must be taken to avoid a too-low angle coming through the thinner portion into the thicker portion, as the step (or 'plunge') at the transition would catch the edge of the stone, if contact is a little high on the shoulder of the thinner portion's bevels.
