In my search for an EDC, I have bought, sold and traded my way through a wide variety of knives in the last 6 months.
Victorinox, CRKT, Gerber, Case, Benchmade, William Henry, Buck, Chris Reeve and Emerson.
All have passed through my hands.
Only one has stuck.
I was prepared to part company with all of them with the exception of the Emerson.
It is the ideal working mans EDC.
I found that sharpening is also not a problem if you use a Lansky type sharpening set.
The secret is to cut a new edge compatible to your set.
I used the top hole to cut the new edge.
This will take a bit of time, but once done it takes only a few strokes to tune up the edge again.
Man, I love this knife!
