sharpening a damascus commander

i know this is a rookie question but i suck at sharpening any blade with a curve the only blade i can make shaving sharp is my tanto waved cqc7 plain edge any suggestions on a sharpening system i was thinking about a spyderco 204 but i read it only has 30 and 40 degree angles for sharpening and i like to use about a 25 degree i use a gatco guide rod system not and i know the stones width is too wide for teh commanders recurve HELP!!!!!!

Damascus...don't! If you want to have the edge sharpened send it to EKI.
