I've got a 10" Marbles Trailmaker. It's a couple years old, so it's still 5160, I believe, rather than the new MC stuff, with a convex edge. Anyway, it was seriously dull out of the box. Does anyone know if sandpaper on a mousepad will work to restore a very dull edge, or should I just send it off to have it done professionally.

Thanks,
Doug

Neither. I doubt if you will ever be satisfied with a Marbles that came dull from the factory, so send it to me and I will dispse of it properly.;)

Seriously, the sandpaper and mousepad will work, but you need to start with a fairly coarse grit and work your way up.

I agree. I wouldn't start with anything higher than 600 grit. Then work your way up in grit as the edge comes back.
