Sharpening a recurve, advice needed

I just got a ZT 0200, and I'm having a bit of trouble getting it sharp on my Sharpmaker. It gets sharp in the recurve part of the blade, but not towards the tip. Do I just need to work it more to get the angles to match up, or am I doing something wrong?

Any advice would be appreciated!

P.S. I've been using my Sharpmaker for a long time, and can get most my other(not recurves) knives shaving sharp, just not recurves for some reason.
