Sharpening a Tanto with a Lansky

I've never had a problem sharpening my BM Stryker with a set of Lansky Crocksticks. But, then again, that's about all I use to sharpen my knives. I guess I'm not that concerned with bevel angle and such. For me, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. And those crock sticks can put a hair-popping edge on any of my folders.

I probably should not be replying to this post because I don't have any tantos but I do have a Lansky and one of the weak points of this type of sharpener is getting the curve near to and up to point. It seems that its hard to do and keep the right angle. That said I would think it would be easier to do a tanto since the there is no or little curve but two mostly straight edges. It would just be a matter of putting the clamp at an equi distance from both edges.
