I recently traded into this beauty:

RS6-Raven_01.JPG

It's a red Scorpion 6 Raven WSK

It did need a good sharpening when I got it, that's proven to be a challenge fo me.
The round part at the end was easy, just my water stones and stropping on leather did the trick.
The grind near the handle doesn't fit my stones... some wet/dry sandpaper on a small piece of wood brought a solution.
I even made a small strop that fits this part of the knife. I need to work on it some more but it'll get sharp enough for me.

Now the round/hook transition part between the two grinds is giving me difficulties.
It's very very dull, maybe sandpaper in a round stick and loads of patience will do the trick.
It's so dull it's hard to believe it was ever sharp to begin with.
Or should this part be sharpenend at a very high angle? Or a normal 20 degrees each side?
Any suggestions are welcome.
