Hoping some experts can help me. I just began carrying a folder for edc use. I have been using a SOG trident I picked up at walmart for a few months, and I've never had a knife this sharp that stayed this sharp. A few day ago, I picked up at CRKT m16-10kz. The knife is a tanto style blade as opposed to a clip point, but I can't seem to get it nearly as sharp as the SOG? Might this be a result of simply diff feet style blades, grinds, or metals? Are there different techniques to sharpening different style blades? Might I just suck at sharpening?
